Presentation of the project at the conference KARR-forum, Karpacz, 27.11.2019
At the end of autumn, we traveled to Poland to present our project to an important meeting of companies from the three-border area - Poland, Germany, and the Czech Republic. Throughout the whole day, thanks to an interactive table, we discussed with the company representatives the possibilities and challenges that our project offers them as well as about offers for student works.

Establishment of cooperation with the business incubator lipo.ink, Liberec, 05.04.2019
The Liberec Business Incubator is an organization established by the Liberec Region. The task of the incubator is to provide a helping hand to start-ups. In addition, the incubator has experts who are not only able to advise but are willing to spread useful information. In our project, we used the helpfulness and experience of lipo.ink and invited their representative to our workshop.

Visit at ATN Oppach GmbH, Oppach, 04.10.2018
ATN Oppach GmbH has a manufacturing portfolio for process control and systems control. During our visit to the company, we discussed the possibilities of current and future cooperation between the company and FM TUL. A result of the cooperation is the assignment of a diploma thesis for a FM TUL student.

Visit to Jablotron LT, Jablonec nad Nisou, 06.06.2018
Jablotron LT is a regional company specializing in the production of gas and electric boilers. During the visit to the company, the possibilities of current and future cooperation between the company and FM TUL were discussed. A result of the cooperation is the assignment of a diploma thesis for a FM TUL student.

Excursion for students to Digades, Zittau, 26.03.2018
Within the project "Development of a cross-border academic network to support the formation of start-ups", students of the bachelor study program Electrical Engineering, Informatics, and Control Systems were invited to visit the company Digades in Zittau. Students were acquainted with the history of the company, its production program, and its structure. The possibility of active cooperation in the solution of projects or bachelor theses was also discussed. In the second part, students visited the production hall and the development department. The excursion was attended by 11 students of 3rd semester and 6 students of 1st semester.

A course will be developed and implemented into the existing study programs of both project partners as a compulsory optional course. The major focus of the course is on the project-related professional teamwork of students of engineering. During the course various tasks, assigned by regional companies and research institutions, will be processed. The intension of the course, including binational teamwork, is to provide students the opportunity to practice business ideas in a very early phase of their working life.
In the last year of the project a workshop will be organized for students of both institutions. Subsequently, essential elements of the workshop will be included into the regular course. Beyond the transfer of scientific knowledge there will be also lessons regarding business start-up. The results of the workshop will be integrated into the regular course.
A internet portal will be developed and operated which serves as platform where regional companies and research institutions can publish topics which will be handled and solved by students attending the course. The course language is English. Acquisition of information and survey of requirements of regional companies will be performed with the support of Chamber of Industry and Commerce as well as regional entrepreneurs associations. The results of the student works conducted in the course will be published on the internet portal.

Ende Herbst reisten wir nach Polen um unser Projekt bei einem wichtigen Treffen der Unternehmen aus der Region des Dreiländerecks Polen, Deutschland und Tschechien zu präsentieren. Dank eines interaktiven Präsentationstisches diskutierten wir während des gesamten Tages mit den Vertretern der Unternehmen die Möglichkeiten, Chancen und Herausforderungen, welche unser Projekt ihnen bietet sowie über Angebote für studentische Arbeiten.

Anbahnung einer Kooperation mit dem Business Incubator lipo.ink, Liberec, 05.04.2019
Der Liberecer Bussines Incubator ist eine Organisation, welche vom Landkreis Liberec eingerichtet wurde. Die Aufgabe des Incubators ist es, Start-ups unterstützend zur Seite zu stehen. Zudem hat der Incubator Experten, welche in der Lage sind zu Beraten und auch bereit sind weitere hilfreiche Informationen zu geben. In unserem Projekt nutzen wir die Bereitschaft und Erfahrung von lipo.ink und luden ihren Vertreter zu unserem workshop ein.

Besuch bei Jablotron LT, Jablonec nad Nisou, 06.06.2018
Jablotron LT ist ein regionales Unternehmen, welches auf die Produktion von Gas- und Elektroboilern spezialisiert ist. Während des Besuches bei dem Unternehmen wurden auch die Möglichkeiten der gegenwärtigen und zukünftigen Kooperation zwischen dem Unternehmen und der FM TUL diskutiert. Ein Ergebnis der Kooperation ist die Vergabe einer Diplomarbeit an einen FM TUL Studenten.

Exkursion für Studenten zu Digades, Zittau, 26.03.2018
Im Projekt "Entwicklung eines grenzübergreifenden studienintegrierten Netzwerks zur Förderung der Unternehmensbildung" waren Studenten des Bachelor Studienprogramms Elektrotechnik, Informatik und Steuerungssysteme eingeladen die Firma Digades in Zittau zu besuchen. Die Studenten wurden mit der Firmengeschichte, den Produkten und der Firmenstruktur vertraut gemacht. Die Möglichkeiten der aktiven Kooperation bei der Lösung von Projekten oder Bachelorarbeiten wurde ebenfalls diskutiert. Im zweiten Teil besichtigten die Studenten die Produktionshallen und die Entwicklungsabteilung. An der Exkursion nahmen 11 Studenten des 3. Semesters und 6 Studenten des 1. Semesters teil.

Es wird ein Modul entwickelt und in die bestehenden Studiengänge als Wahlpflichtmodul beider Partner implementiert. Wesentlicher Schwerpunkt des Moduls ist die projektbezogene fachliche Zusammenarbeit von Studierenden der Ingenieurwissenschaften. Im Rahmen des Moduls werden Aufgabenstellungen der regionalen Wirtschaft und aus regionalen Forschungseinrichtungen bearbeitet. Ziel ist es, den Studierenden im Zuge binationaler Gruppenarbeit die Möglichkeit zu bieten, unternehmerische Ideen schon in einer sehr frühen Phase ihres Arbeitslebens umzusetzen.
Im letzten Jahr des Vorhabens wird ein Workshop mit Studierenden beider Partner durchgeführt, der wesentliche Elemente enthält, die im Zuge der Verstetigung Bestandteil des Wahlpflichtmoduls sein werden. Neben der Vermittlung und Erarbeitung von wissenschaftlichen Inhalten, finden Veranstaltungen zum Themenfeld "Existenzgründung" statt. Die Ergebnisse des Workshops fließen in das Modul ein.
Es wird eine Internetplattform entwickelt und freigeschaltet, auf der Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtungen der Region Aufgaben für Studierende veröffentlichen können, die im Rahmen des Moduls durch Studierende bearbeitet und einer Lösung zugeführt werden. Die Unterrichtssprache im Modul ist für beide Projektpartner Englisch. Die Industrie- und Handelskammern sowie regionale Unternehmerverbände werden für die Informationsgewinnung herangezogen, um die Bedarfe der regionalen Industrie zu ermitteln. Die Ergebnisse der Modularbeiten werden auf der Internetplattform zur Verfügung gestellt.
