Presentation of the project at the conference KARR-forum, Karpacz, 27.11.2019

At the end of autumn, we traveled to Poland to present our project to an important meeting of companies from the three-border area - Poland, Germany, and the Czech Republic. Throughout the whole day, thanks to an interactive table, we discussed with the company representatives the possibilities and challenges that our project offers them as well as about offers for student works.

Project presentation at TUL Open Day, Liberec, 23.11.2019

We used the Open Day of the Technical University of Liberec to present our project to prospective applicants at FM TUL.

Presentation of the project at the conference SKAKUII, Harrachov, 04.-06.09.2019

The aims and results of the project were presented at one of the largest meetings of representatives of universities in the field of cybernetics, control technology, and informatics.

Workshop on Start Up Development successfully accomplished, Zittau, 13.05.2019
Establishment of cooperation with the business incubator lipo.ink, Liberec, 05.04.2019

The Liberec Business Incubator is an organization established by the Liberec Region. The task of the incubator is to provide a helping hand to start-ups. In addition, the incubator has experts who are not only able to advise but are willing to spread useful information. In our project, we used the helpfulness and experience of lipo.ink and invited their representative to our workshop.

Presentation of the project at the conference CroBoPlast, Zittau, 27.03.2019

We used the meeting of plastic articles production companies from the region to actively present our project and present it to the representatives of individual companies.

Visit at ATN Oppach GmbH, Oppach, 04.10.2018

ATN Oppach GmbH has a manufacturing portfolio for process control and systems control. During our visit to the company, we discussed the possibilities of current and future cooperation between the company and FM TUL. A result of the cooperation is the assignment of a diploma thesis for a FM TUL student.

Visit to Jablotron LT, Jablonec nad Nisou, 06.06.2018

Jablotron LT is a regional company specializing in the production of gas and electric boilers. During the visit to the company, the possibilities of current and future cooperation between the company and FM TUL were discussed. A result of the cooperation is the assignment of a diploma thesis for a FM TUL student.

Excursion for students to Digades, Zittau, 26.03.2018

Within the project "Development of a cross-border academic network to support the formation of start-ups", students of the bachelor study program Electrical Engineering, Informatics, and Control Systems were invited to visit the company Digades in Zittau. Students were acquainted with the history of the company, its production program, and its structure. The possibility of active cooperation in the solution of projects or bachelor theses was also discussed. In the second part, students visited the production hall and the development department. The excursion was attended by 11 students of 3rd semester and 6 students of 1st semester.

  • Development of a compulsory optional course

    A course will be developed and implemented into the existing study programs of both project partners as a compulsory optional course. The major focus of the course is on the project-related professional teamwork of students of engineering. During the course various tasks, assigned by regional companies and research institutions, will be processed. The intension of the course, including binational teamwork, is to provide students the opportunity to practice business ideas in a very early phase of their working life.

  • Realization of a workshop

    In the last year of the project a workshop will be organized for students of both institutions. Subsequently, essential elements of the workshop will be included into the regular course. Beyond the transfer of scientific knowledge there will be also lessons regarding business start-up. The results of the workshop will be integrated into the regular course.

  • Internet platform

    A internet portal will be developed and operated which serves as platform where regional companies and research institutions can publish topics which will be handled and solved by students attending the course. The course language is English. Acquisition of information and survey of requirements of regional companies will be performed with the support of Chamber of Industry and Commerce as well as regional entrepreneurs associations. The results of the student works conducted in the course will be published on the internet portal.
